1.
If possible, do not smoke 24 hours before the operation, if you
cannot, try to reduce it. Remember that smoking will prolong your healing
process.
2. Do not take ALCOHOL
one week before the operation. Do not use other foreign substances.
3. Inform your doctor
about the medications you are using for chronic (diabetes, heart, blood
pressure, tuberculosis, etc.) or acute diseases.
4. Do not use tricyclic
antidepressants, anticoagulant drugs (heperin, aspirin, coumadin, etc.), beta
blockers and mao inhibitors (aurorix, etc.) for 2 weeks before the operation.
Please inform your doctor if you have taken any of these drugs during this
period.
5. Do not apply any
topical medication to your scalp and hair before the operation.
6. Wash your hair
before the operation and do not use any gel or spray after washing.
7. Make sure to have
breakfast before coming to the operation. If your operation will be in the
afternoon, have a light lunch before you arrive.
8. Give up coffee and
caffeine-style drinks the day before.
9. Do not take
multivitamin preparations containing B and E vitamins 1 week before the
operation as they will increase your bleeding.
10. We do not recommend
you to drive for 6 hours after the operation.
11.
Come to the operation with a type of clothing (shirt, cardigan,
etc.) that will not rub against your head during wearing and take off.
